Plan Commission Meeting
Monday, March 28th, 2022

The Town of Dodgeville Plan Commission met on Monday, March 28th at 6:00 P.M. Planning Commission Chair Larry Nelson called the Planning Commission meeting to order at 6:00 P.M.

Plan Commission Committee members in attendance were Larry Nelson, Curt Peterson, Pam Johnson-Loy, Peter Vanderloo, Krista Dolan and Mary Wilson. Absent was Paul Lawinger.

Others in attendance: DeAnna Halverson and Gary Halverson.

Planning Commission Chairman Larry Nelson verified that proper notice of the public hearing was posted on March 16, 2022 in accordance with WI Statutes 19.84 (3) at the Town Message Boards at Pleasant Ridge Store, Mueller Implement and the Town Office. Curt Peterson made a motion to approve the public notice and agenda. Peter Vanderloo seconded the motion. Motion carried.

Krista Dolan made a motion to approve the February 28th, 2022 Plan Commission meeting minutes as presented. Pam Johnson-Loy seconded the motion. Motion carried.

The Planning Commission and DeAnna & Gary Halverson discussed the conditional use permit for the purpose of a commercial livestock operation located on a 3.595 acre parcel zoned AB-1 Ag Business in the NE ¼ of the SE ¼ and the SE ¼ of the SE ¼ of Section 25, Town 6 North, Range 3 East located at 5392 Section Line Road. The individuals indicated they were requesting 6 animal units as there primary intentions are to raise a few head of livestock on the property while utilizing the buildings for animal use. Curt Peterson made a motion to recommend the approval of the conditional use permit for the purpose of a commercial livestock operation located on a 3.595 acre parcel zoned AB-1 Ag Business in the NE ¼ of the SE ¼ and the SE ¼ of the SE ¼ of Section 25, Town 6 North, Range 3 East located at 5392 Section Line Road with 6 animal units. Krista Dolan seconded the motion. Motion carried.

There were no other correspondence and other matters.

Pam Johnson-Loy made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 6:27 p.m. Mary Wilson seconded the motion. Motion carried.
