June 26, 2014 Board of Review

BOARD OF REVIEW MEETING MINUTES
TOWN OF DODGEVILLE
June 26th, 2014

Members present were: Curt Peterson, David Blume, Dorothy Gullickson, Assessor Calvin Magnan and Clerk, Sara Olson.

David Blume made a motion to nominate Curt Peterson to serve as Chairperson for the 2014 Board of Review. Dorothy Gullickson seconded the motion. Roll call: Gullickson, yes; Blume, yes and Peterson, yes. Motion carried.

David Blume made a motion to nominate Dorothy Gullickson to serve as Vice-Chair for the 2013 Board of Review. Curt Peterson seconded the motion. Roll call: Blume, yes; Peterson, yes and Gullickson, yes. Motion carried.

Board of Review was called to order at 6:00 p.m. by Town Chairman, Curt Peterson.

David Blume made a motion to accept the June 4th and June 13th, 2013 Board of Review minutes as presented. Dorothy Gullickson seconded the motion. Motion carried.

Roll Call: Gullickson, yes: Peterson, yes and Blume, yes.

Clerk Olson verified that proper notice of the Board of Review was posted on May 28th, 2014 in accordance to WI Statutes 19.84 (3) at the Town Message Boards at Pleasant Ridge Store, Mueller Implement and the Town Office. In addition notice was also published in the Dodgeville Chronicle on May 29th, 2014.

David Blume moved that this Board of Review is in compliance with the open meeting law. Dorothy Gullickson seconded the motion. Roll call: Blume, yes; Gullickson, yes and Peterson, yes. Motion carried.

Clerk Olson also verified that Steven Johnson, Curt Peterson, Dorothy Gullickson, David Gollon and David Blume satisfied the training requirements for Board of Review.

Clerk Olson verified that the 2014 Assessment Roll was received and that she witnessed Calvin Magnan signing the assessor’s affidavit.

David Gollon arrived at 7:05 p.m.

There were no objectors present and no notices of determination completed at the 2014 Board of Review.

David Blume made a motion to adjourn the 2014 Board of Review at 8:00 p.m. to a later date which will be August 5th, 2014 at 6:00 p.m., seconded by Dorothy Gullickson. Roll call: Gollon, yes; Blume, yes; Gullickson, yes; and Peterson, yes. Motion carried.
