Town Board Meeting Minutes
June 26th, 2014
*Immediately following Board of Review*

1) Call to order. Town Chairman, Curt Peterson called the meeting to order at 8:02 P.M.

Town Supervisors in attendance were: David Blume, David Gollon, and Dorothy Gullickson. Also in attendance was Clerk/Treasurer Sara Olson.

2) Approval of Public Notice/Agenda. Supervisor, David Gollon made a motion to approve the public notice and agenda seconded by Supervisor, David Blume. Motion carried.

3) Approval or Denial of Beer, Liquor and Cigarette Licenses for the 2014-2015 licensing year. (Pleasant Ridge Country Store LLC, House on the Rock Inn, Jumping Jupiter LLC, Hill’s Pub and Banquet Hall LLC, Kate’s Bait LLC and Barn 23 Bar & Restaurant).

David Blume made a motion to approve the issuance of a 2014-2015 Class “B” Beer license and Class “C” Wine License for Pleasant Ridge Store (Charles Rolli, Agent). Dorothy Gullickson seconded the motion. Motion carried.

David Blume made a motion to approve a cigarette license and the issuance of a 2014-2015 Class “A” Beer/Liquor Combination license for Jumping Jupiter (Susan M. Grimes, Agent). Dorothy Gullickson seconded the motion. Motion carried.

David Blume made a motion to approve the issuance of a 2014-2015 Class “B” Beer/Liquor Combination license for Hill’s Pub and Banquet Hall, LLC. (Ed Hill, Agent) .This license allows alcoholic beverages to be served in the building located at 3625 State Road 23 including the basement. Dorothy Gullickson seconded the motion. Motion carried.

David Blume made a motion to approve the issuance of a 2014-2015 Class “B” Beer/Liquor Combination license for Vivid, Inc. (Nancy Schaaf, Agent). Dorothy Gullickson seconded the motion. Motion carried.

David Blume made a motion to approve the issuance of a 2014-2015 Class “A” Beer license for Kate’s Bait LLC (Kathryn Rickey, Agent). Dorothy Gullickson seconded the motion. Motion carried.

David Blume made a motion to approve the issuance of a 2014-2015 Class “B” Beer/Liquor Combination license for Barn 23 Bar & Restaurant. (Sarah Woerpel, Agent). Dorothy Gullickson seconded the motion. Motion carried.

4) Approval or Denial of Operator Licenses for the 2014-2015 licensing year. David Gollon made a motion to approve operator licenses for the 2014-2015 licensing year for the following individuals: Stephen Demuth, Lauren Gullickson, Michael Slaney, Ashley Carlson (Pleasant Ridge Store) Doyle Wallace (Jumping Jupiter) David Grainger, Gary Holloway, Betty Smith, Nancy Schaaf, Charlotte Jones (Vivid, Inc.) Jenna Walhovd, Crystal Slaney (Barn 23 Bar & Restaurant.) Dale Rickey (Kate’s Bait) and Kayla Schult (Hill’s Pub and Banquet Hall). David Blume seconded the motion. Motion carried. Dorothy Gullickson abstained as to Lauren Gullickson only.

5) Discussion & possible action re: Salt Storage Shed Bids. Town Board Supervisor, David Blume presented a spreadsheet with the bid documents for the salt shed concrete work. David Gollon made a motion to accept the lowest bid presented by Ken Wilson concrete and to approve a 16X12 apron. Dorothy Gullickson seconded the motion. Motion carried.

6) Public Comment. None

7) Adjournment. David Blume made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 8:17 p.m. Dorothy Gullickson seconded the motion. Motion carried.
