July 28, 2011 Special Town Board Meeting

Special Town Board Meeting
July 28th, 2011 @ 12:30 p.m.

1) Call to order. Town Chairman, Curt Peterson called the meeting to order at 12:36 p.m.

Town Supervisors in attendance were: David Gollon, David Thomas and Charles Price. Also in attendance were Clerk Sara Olson and Keith Dalsing.

2) Approval of Public Notice/Agenda. Supervisor, Charlie Price made a motion to approve the public notice and agenda seconded by Supervisor, David Gollon. Motion carried.

3) Discussion & possible action re: Approval of final plans and authorizing bidding of the Brue Road Project. The Town Board and Keith Dalsing discussed the plans, permits and financial information for the Brue Road project in detail. David Gollon made a motion to approve the plans as submitted. David Thomas seconded the motion. Motion carried. David Gollon made a motion to authorize the bidding of Brue Road with the stream work (any work within the stream bed area) to be completed by September 15th, the road gravel and fill to be completed by October 21st and the final completion date being June 1st, 2012. Penalties will be charged at $500 per day on the September 15th deadline and $250 per day on all other deadline dates. The bid opening will take place on August 22nd @ 10:00 a.m. and the awarding of bids will be held on August 22nd @ 4:00 p.m. Charlie Price seconded the motion. Motion carried.

4) Public Comment. None

5) Adjournment. David Gollon made a motion to adjourn the meeting. David Thomas seconded the motion. Motion carried.
