Plan Commission Meeting
Monday, February 27th, 2012

The Town of Dodgeville Plan Commission met on Monday, February 27th at 6:30 PM. Chair, Anthony Esch called the Planning Commission meeting to order at 6:31 PM.

Plan Commission Committee members in attendance were: Chair, Anthony Esch, Matthew Chitwood, Laura Jean Blotz, and David Blume. Absent were Curt Peterson, Robert Butler and Katherine Cahill.

Others in attendance were: Clerk/Treasurer Sara Olson, John Wright and Mary Wright.

Chairman Anthony Esch verified that proper notice of the meeting was posted on February 21st, 2012 in accordance to WI Statutes 19.84 (3) at the Town Message Boards at Jumping Jupiter, Mueller Implement and the Town Office. David Blume made a motion to approve the public notice and agenda. Matthew Chitwood seconded the motion. Motion carried.

Matthew Chitwood made a motion to approve the January 20th, 2012 meeting minutes as submitted. Laura Jean Blotz seconded the motion. Motion carried.

Chairman Anthony Esch asked John Wright to provide the Planning Commission information on the rezoning application, located in the part of the SE ¼ of the SE ¼ of Section 16 Town 6 North Range 3 East and part of the NE ¼ of the NE ¼ of Section 21 Town 6 North Range 3 East to rezone 6.6 acres more or less from A-1 Ag Non-Conforming to AR-1 Ag Residential to create one 12.2 acre parcel more or less that is zoned AR-1. There will be .21 acres of the parcel that will be rezoned from AR-1 Ag Residential to A-1 Ag. John Wright indicated that they are interested in selling Governor Dodge 40 acres and need the .21 acres to make it a full 40 acres. He also indicated that they are trying to fix the non-conforming parcel at the same time.

David Blume made a motion to recommend the approval of the rezoning of 6.6 acres more or less from A-1 Ag Non-Conforming to AR-1 Ag Residential to create one 12.2 acre parcel more or less that is zoned AR-1 with the .21 acre piece being rezoned from AR-1 Ag Residential to A-1 Ag located in the part of the SE ¼ of the SE ¼ of Section 16 Town 6 North Range 3 East and part of the NE ¼ of the NE ¼ of Section 21 Town 6 North Range 3 E currently being owned by John & Mary Wright. Matthew Chitwood seconded the motion. Motion carried.

There were no correspondence or other matters discussed.

Laura Jean Blotz made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Matthew Chitwood seconded the motion. Motion carried.
