Plan Commission Meeting
Monday, December 29th, 2014

The Town of Dodgeville Plan Commission met on Monday, December 29th at 6:30 P.M. Plan Commission Chairman Greg Jewell called the Planning Commission meeting to order at 6:32 P.M.

Plan Commission Committee members in attendance were: Greg Jewell, Ron Robson, Steven Johnson, Daryl Tresner, Robert Fitzsimmons and Curt Peterson. Absent was: Kathi Cahill.

Others in attendance were: Clerk/Treasurer Sara Olson, Donald Ley and Larry Nelson.

Chairman Greg Jewell verified that proper notice of the meeting was posted on December 19th, 2014 in accordance to WI Statutes 19.84 (3) at the Town Message Boards at Pleasant Ridge Store, Mueller Implement and the Town Office. Curt Peterson made a motion to approve the public notice and agenda. Steven Johnson seconded the motion. Motion carried.

Robert Fitzsimmons made a motion to approve the October 27th, 2014 meeting minutes as submitted. Ron Robson seconded the motion. Motion carried.

Clerk/Treasurer Sara Olson presented the Town Board with information in regards to the application of the Geraldine Anderson Estate. The representative of the estate wasn’t present at the meeting. Curt Peterson made a motion to move the application to the January 26th, 2015 board meeting when the representative of the estate can be present to answer questions in regards to the application. Daryl Tresner seconded the motion. Motion carried.

Town Plan Commission member, Curt Peterson reviewed and discussed some areas in the first two elements of the Comprehensive Plan that he felt the committee members should review as the first two elements will be discussed at the Plan Commission meeting that will be held on January 26th, 2015.

The Town Plan Commission reviewed and discussed correspondence received from the Iowa County Planning & Development in regards to farmland preservation mapping and the Town of Dodgeville. No action was taken on this item as the Plan Members were asked to bring back recommendations to the January meeting.

Steven Johnson made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Robert Fitzsimmons seconded the motion. Motion carried.
