Town Board Meeting Minutes
August 6th, 2019
*6:00 p.m.*

1) Call to order. Town Chairman, Curt Peterson called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.

Town Supervisors in attendance were: David Gollon, David Pope and Peter Vanderloo. Excused was: Kyle Levetzow. Also in attendance were Clerk/Treasurer Sara Olson, Cord Yager, Jeffrey Haylock, Randy Beerkircher and Kevin Zajicek.

Everyone in attendance recited the Pledge of Allegiance.

2) Approval of Public Notice/Agenda. Supervisor, David Gollon made a motion to approve the public notice and agenda seconded by Supervisor, Peter Vanderloo. Motion carried.

3) Comments from the public. None

4) Approval of Meeting Minutes from July 2nd, 2019. David Pope made a motion to approve the meeting minutes from July 2nd, 2019 as presented. David Gollon seconded the motion. Motion carried. Peter Vanderloo abstained from the motion.

5) Approval of Treasurer’s Report for General, Sanitary District #1 and Tax Collection Account. Peter Vanderloo made a motion to approve the Town of Dodgeville’s July 2019 Treasurer’s Report stating the following fund balances:

General Checking $ 162,814.99
Farmer’s Savings $ 195,077.85
Local Government Investment Pool $ 7,298.18
Farmer’s Savings Tax Account $ 0.00
Mound City Tax Account $ 146,290.10

Township Funds: $ 511,481.12
Tax Funds: $ 0.00

David Pope seconded the motion. Motion carried.

Peter Vanderloo made a motion to approve Sanitary District #1 Treasurer’s Report as submitted stating the following fund balances:

Sanitary District #1 $12,625.48

David Pope seconded the motion. Motion carried.

6) Bills to be approved. David Gollon made a motion to approve the August 6th, 2019 vouchers in the amount of $11,732.67 and Sanitary District #1 vouchers in the amount of $3,503.69. Peter Vanderloo seconded the motion. Motion carried.

7) Town Roads/Equipment Report. Clerk/Treasurer Sara Olson informed the Board that the 2015 MACK had a mid-shift bearing that needed replacing and the 2018 MACK was currently being serviced. The Town Board requested that Town Patrolman Randy Beerkircher work with David Gollon in regards to the needed repair and to also request the trade-in value of the 2015 MACK. Town Chairman, Curt Peterson presented information in regards to the guardrail on the box culvert on Otter Rd and the estimated costs for replacing and extending the existing guardrail on the hill of Otter Road.

8) Clerk/Treasurer Report. Clerk/Treasurer Sara Olson shared an invitation to attend a demonstration in crop nutrient stewardship.

9) Review of State Budge Report. Town Chairman, Curt Peterson presented information in regards to the upcoming TRIP and TRIP-D funding opportunities and informed the Board of projects that he will be looking into seeking future funding.

10) Discussion & possible action re: Backhoe/Loader Tractor Proposals. Clerk/Treasurer Sara Olson presented the backhoe/loader tractor proposals for informational and future budgetary purposes. No action was taken.

11) Adjournment. David Gollon made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 6:54 p.m. Peter Vanderloo seconded the motion. Motion carried.
