Special Town Board Meeting Minutes
Thursday, April 2nd, 2009
6:00 p.m.
1) Call to order. Town Chairman, Curt Peterson called the meeting to order at 6:02 p.m.

Town Supervisors in attendance were: Charles Price, David Gollon and David Thomas. Greg Jewell was absent.

2) Approval of Public Notice/Agenda. Supervisor, David Thomas made a motion to approve the public notice and agenda seconded by Supervisor David Gollon. Motion carried.

Charles Price made a motion to suspend the agenda. David Gollon seconded the motion. Motion carried

3) Closed Session in Accordance with Wisconsin Statue 19.85 (1) (c) to consider employment, promotion, employee hours, compensation or performance evaluation of any public employee of which the governmental body has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility. (Performance Evaluations). David Gollon made a motion to go into closed session at 6:06 p.m. in Accordance with Wisconsin Statue 19.85 (1) (c) to consider employment, promotion, employee hours, compensation or performance evaluation of any public employee of which the governmental body has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility. Charles Price seconded the motion. Roll call: Peterson, yes, Price, yes, Gollon, yes, Thomas, yes. Motion carried.

4) Reconvene into Open Session. Charles Price made a motion to reconvene into open session at 8:45 p.m. David Gollon seconded the motion. Motion carried.

5) Board Action as a Result of Closed Session. David Gollon made a motion to adopt the Employment Manual recently revised March 26, 2009 with the addition of adding the following sentence at the end of the paragraph on page 7, Section 3.02, Orientation Period: The Town Board at its discretion may extend the orientation period for any personnel. Charles Price seconded the motion. Motion carried.

Charlie Price made a motion to declare Charley Rolli a Regular Part-Time Employee starting April 1, 2009 under the revised employment manual. David Gollon seconded the motion. Motion carried.

6) Discussion & possible action re: Operator’s License for Terry Lovaas. David Gollon made a motion to postpone this agenda item until the regular April Town Board meeting. Charles Price seconded the motion. Motion carried.

7) Public Comment. None.

8) Adjournment. Charlie Price made a motion to adjourn at 9:00 p.m. Charles Price seconded the motion. Motion carried.
