September 1, 2015 Sanitary District #1 & #2 Board Meeting

Sanitary District #1 & #2 Board of Commissioners
Tuesday, September 1st, 2015
*Immediately following the Regular Town Board meeting*
1) Call to order. Town Chairman, Curt Peterson called the meeting to order at 7:52 p.m.

Town Supervisors in attendance were David Gollon, Peter Vanderloo, David Blume and Steven Johnson. Also in attendance was Clerk Sara Olson.

2) Approval of Public Notice/Agenda. Supervisor, David Blume made a motion to approve the public notice and agenda seconded by Supervisor Steven Johnson. Motion carried.

3) Approval of Meeting Minutes from August 17th, 2015. David Blume made a motion to approve the August 17th, 2015 meeting minutes as submitted. Steven Johnson seconded the motion. Motion carried.

4) Discussion & possible action re: Sanitary District #2 Greater Heights Annexiation. Clerk/Treasurer Sara Olson informed the board that she received documents from Attorney Lawrence Bechler to be discussed in Closed Session.

5) Closed Session in accordance with Wisconsin Statue 19.85 (1) (e) for deliberating or negotiating the purchasing of public properties, the investing of public funds, or conducting other specified public business, whenever competitive or bargaining reasons require a closed session. David Gollon made a motion to go into Closed Session in accordance with Wisconsin Statue 19.85 (1) (e) for deliberating or negotiating the purchasing of public properties, the investing of public funds, or conducting other specified public business, whenever competitive or bargaining reasons require a closed session. Steven Johnson seconded the motion. Motion carried. Roll Call: Peterson, yes; Gollon, yes; Blume, yes; Vanderloo, yes and Johnson, yes. Clerk/Treasurer Sara Olson was also present.

6) Reconvening into Open Session. David Blume made a motion to reconvene into open session. Steven Johnson seconded the motion. Motion carried.

7) Board action as a result of Closed Session. No action taken.

8) Discussion & possible action re: Sanitary District #1 Boundary Change The Board of Commissioners discussed the seeking of an attorney to help with the legal process to amend the boundaries of Sanitary District #1. David Gollon made a motion to seek legal counsel to help with the legal process of amending the boundaries of Sanitary District #1. David Blume seconded the motion. Motion carried.

9) Discussion & possible action re: Sanitary District #1 User Agreement. The Board of Commissioners requested to have Clerk/Treasurer Sara Olson look into who has the ability to reallocate allotment within the Sanitary District.

10) Public Comment. None.
11) Adjournment. David Blume made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 8:25 p.m. David Gollon seconded the motion. Motion carried.
