Town Board Meeting Minutes
February 18th, 2015
5:00 p.m.

1) Call to order. Town Chairman, Curt Peterson called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m.

Town Supervisors in attendance were: David Gollon, David Blume and Steve Johnson. Also in attendance was Clerk/Treasurer Sara Olson. Absent was: Dorothy Gullickson.

2) Approval of Public Notice/Agenda. Supervisor, David Blume made a motion to approve the public notice and agenda seconded by Supervisor, Steven Johnson. Motion carried.

3) Discussion & possible action re: 2015 TRIP Leffler Road Project. The Town Board summarized the Leffler Road Project. Steven Johnson made a motion to authorize the bidding of the 2015 Leffler Road Project with the Town Board receiving sealed bids until 10:00 a.m. on March 16th, 2015. The bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at 4:00 p.m. David Gollon seconded the motion. Motion carried.

4) Discussion & possible action re: Evans Quarry Road Damages. Clerk/Treasurer Sara Olson shared correspondence received from Murphy Desmond in regards to the Evans Quarry Road damages. No action was taken.

5) Closed Session in accordance with Wisconsin Statue 19.85 (1) (c) to consider employment, promotion, employee hours, compensation or performance evaluation of any public employee of which the governmental body has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility. David Gollon made a motion to go into Closed Session in accordance with Wisconsin Statue 19.85 (1) (c) to consider employment, promotion, employee hours, compensation or performance evaluation of any public employee of which the governmental body has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility. Steven Johnson seconded the motion. Motion carried. Roll Call: Gollon, yes; Peterson, yes; Blume, yes; and Johnson, yes. Clerk/Treasurer Sara Olson was also present.

6) Reconvene into Open Session. David Blume made a motion to reconvene into open session. Steven Johnson seconded the motion. Motion carried.

7) Board action as a result of Closed Session. David Gollon made a motion to limit compensation to 40 hours for doctor’s appointments for worker compensation claims until further review with the following conditions:
1. The individual must submit duty status as well as limitations from the doctor or therapist.
2. The individual must supply the Town Office with a therapy/doctor’s schedule. The individual is also required to call/check in with the Clerk/Treasurer when going to the doctor as well as when returning from the doctor.
3. The individual must supply a sheet of time from the Therapist or a time schedule allotment.
4. The individual must report daily or weekly to the Clerk/Treasurer as to the availability of work or non work times. This includes all time not just worker’s compensation related time.

These conditions must be completed prior to Monday, February 23rd for the individual to be eligible for compensation of doctor’s appointment prior to the Town Board meeting. If these conditions aren’t met compensation time will not be paid for that individual appointment and may be ineligible for future compensation related to this workers compensation issue. Steven Johnson seconded the motion. Motion carried.
8) Public Comment. Town Board Supervisor, David Blume presented information in regards to the Towns current and future financing options. No action was taken.

9) Adjournment. Steven Johnson made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 6:39 p.m. David Gollon seconded the motion. Motion carried.
