Plan Commission Meeting
Monday, October 29th, 2012

The Town of Dodgeville Plan Commission met on Monday, October 29th at 6:30 PM. Vice-Chair, David Blume called the Planning Commission meeting to order at 6:45 PM.

Plan Commission Committee members in attendance were: Robert Fitzsimmons, Matthew Chitwood, David Blume and Robert Butler. Absent was: Katherine Cahill, Curt Peterson and Anthony Esch.

Others in attendance were: Clerk/Treasurer Sara Olson and John Zier.

Vice Chairman David Blume verified that proper notice of the meeting was posted on October 16th, 2012 in accordance to WI Statutes 19.84 (3) at the Town Message Boards at Jumping Jupiter, Mueller Implement and the Town Office. Matthew Chitwood made a motion to approve the public notice and agenda. Robert Butler seconded the motion. Motion carried.

Matthew Chitwood made a motion to approve the September 24th, 2012 meeting minutes as submitted. Robert Fitzsimmons seconded the motion. Motion carried.

Bradley and Rebecca Parkin weren’t in attendance at the meeting. Matthew Chitwood made a motion to recommend postponing any action on the conditional use application to divide an existing 11.60 acre AR-1 lot into two AR-1 lots in the S ½ of the SE ¼ of Section 20 and the N ½ of the NE ¼ of Section 29, Township 6 North, Range 4 East located at 3269 Evans Quarry Road due to the Parkin’s weren’t in attendance. Matthew Chitwood indicated if the county needs immediate action on the conditional use application a special Plan Commission meeting can be called to order at the owner’s expense. Robert Butler seconded the motion. Motion carried.

The Plan Commission talked about the previous Smart Growth Survey results that were distributed by the Clerk/Treasurer. The Plan Commission will be talking about the survey in further details at the next Plan Commission meeting.

Matthew Chitwood made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 7:04 p.m. Robert Fitzsimmons seconded the motion. Motion carried.
