Special Board Meeting Minutes
October 12th, 2009 @ 6:00 p.m.
1) Call to order. Town Chairman, Curt Peterson called the meeting to order at 6:02 PM.
Town Supervisors in attendance were: David Thomas, Charles Price and David Gollon. Also in attendance was Clerk Sara Olson. Absent: Thomas Mueller.
2) Approval of Public Notice/Agenda. Supervisor, Charles Price made a motion to approve the public notice and agenda seconded by Supervisor David Thomas. Motion carried.
3) Discussion and possible action re: Acceptance of Tax Parcel 008-1184.AA (Portion of Rowe Road). Clerk/Treasurer Sara Olson presented a letter to the Town Board from Jackson Law Firm, S.C. in reference to receiving a Quit Claim Deed on the parcel indicated above, noting that there would be no consideration paid to the client for the transfer. Charles Price made a motion to have the Town of Dodgeville accept Tax Parcel 008-1184.AA and obtain a quit claim deed for this property. David Gollon seconded the motion. Motion carried.
4) Discussion and possible action re: 2010 Town Budget. The Town Board worked on a preliminary draft of the 2010 budget.
5) Discussion and possible action re: Setting dates & times for upcoming meetings. A Special Town Board meeting will be held on October 19th 2009 at 6:00 p.m.
6) Public Comment. None
7) Adjournment. David Thomas made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 8:42 P.M. Charles Price seconded the motion. Motion carried.
