Notice of Special Town Meeting of the Electors of the Town of Dodgeville
November 1st, 2016
*Immediately following completion of the public hearing on the proposed 2016 budget*


Call to order. Town Chairman, Curt Peterson called the meeting to order at 6:07 P.M.

Town Supervisors in attendance were: Steve Johnson, Peter Vanderloo and David Blume. Also in attendance were Clerk/Treasurer Sara Olson and Jeffrey Haylock.

1) To approve the total year 2017 highway expenditure pursuant to Sec. 82.03 (2) of Wis. Statues. David Blume made a motion to approve the total year 2017 highway expenditures in the amount of $520,328.00. Steven Johnson seconded the motion. Motion carried.

2) To adopt the 2016 tax levy to be paid in 2017 pursuant to Sec. 60.10(1)(a) Wis. Statues. Steven Johnson made a motion to approve the 2016 tax levy to be paid in 2017 in the amount of $450,252.00. Peter Vanderloo seconded the motion. Motion carried.

3) To establish the per diems of the Town Board Supervisors for the 2017-2018 term. Steven Johnson made a motion to establish the per diem of the Town Board Supervisors at $45.00 per meeting for the 2017-2018 term as well as the receiving of an annual salary of $250.00 for Town Board Supervisors for the 2017-2018 term. David Blume seconded the motion. Motion carried.

4) Adjournment. Steven Johnson made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 6:15 p.m. Peter Vanderloo seconded the motion. Motion carried.
