Town Board Meeting Minutes
May 10th, 2021
*6:00 p.m.*

1) Call to order. Town Chairman, Curt Peterson called the meeting to order at 6:05 p.m.

Town Supervisors in attendance were David Pope, David Gollon, Peter Vanderloo and Kyle Levetzow. Also, in attendance was Clerk/Treasurer Sara Olson, Larry Nelson, Connie Ritchie-Hallada, Carson Erickson and Greg Jewell.

Everyone in attendance recited the Pledge of Allegiance.

2) Public Comment. None.

3) Approval of Public Notice/Agenda. Supervisor, Kyle Levetzow made a motion to approve the public notice and agenda seconded by Supervisor, David Pope. Motion carried.

4) Discussion & possible action re: Preliminary Plat Approval of Hallada Subdivision. Greg Jewell from Jewell & Associates presented information in regards to the creation of a thru street versus a cul-da-sac. It was indicated in order to accommodate for a thru street 6 lots would need to be adjusted to less than two acres and it would be an estimated increase of cost of approximately $13,00 per lot in which the developer didn’t feel would feasible. The Town Board discussed some potential drainage issues and concerns which would be addressed in the final drainage report. Peter Vanderloo moved to approve the preliminary plat of Hallada Subdivision located in part of the NW ¼ and part of the SW ¼ of the NW ¼ and part of Outlot 2, Outlot 3, Lots 21, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30 of Lehner’s Plat No. 3, of Section 28, Township 6 North, Range 3 East located on Brue and Lehner Road with the condition that the developer’s engineer shall confirm that the proposed development will not increase the level of water stored in the drainageway east of Lehner Road; that the plans for the street improvements shall be revised to widen the shoulders to 4-foot in width; and that the plat provide building setbacks in order to provide additional parking on the lengthen driveways. The revised plans and plat shall be submitted to the Town. David Gollon seconded the motion. Motion carried.

5) Adjournment. David Gollon made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 6:40 p.m. Kyle Levetzow seconded the motion. Motion carried.
