March 22, 2023 Special Town Board Meeting

Town Board Meeting Minutes
March 22nd, 2023
*6:00 p.m.*


1) Call to order. Town Supervisor, Curt Peterson called the meeting to order at 6:01 p.m.

Town Supervisors in attendance were Pam Johnson-Loy, Kyle Levetzow, Peter Vanderloo and David Pope. Also, in attendance were Clerk/Treasurer Sara Olson, Kevin Zajicek, Greg Jewell, Connie Ritchie-Hallada, Gunther Straubhaar, Larry Nelson, Carson Erickson and Frank Hallada.

Everyone in attendance recited the Pledge of Allegiance.

2) Approval of Public Notice/Agenda. Supervisor, Kyle Levetzow made a motion to approve the public notice and agenda seconded by Supervisor, Peter Vanderloo. Motion carried.


3) Public Comment. None.

4) Discussion & possible action re: Re-platting of Lots 5 and 6 of the Black Diamond Subdivision in part of the NW ¼ of the NW ¼ and the SW ¼ of the NW ¼ in Section 28, Township 6 North, Range 3 East located at Jay Drive. Connie and Frank Hallada updated the Town Board in regards to Lots 5 and 6 as they were unable to attend the previous meetings. Town Supervisor, Kyle Levetzow reiterated his concerns from the Town Board meeting and the discussion that had taken place in those previous meetings. Connie Hallada indicated that they have only had this one offer on the lots within the proposed subdivision. Frank Hallada indicated that they are really looking to get something rolling within the development, the covenants do not restrict density, and nothing prevents people from buying several lots. The Town Board members further discussed the re-platting of the lots. Town Board Supervisor, David Pope had indicated that lots from the Lehner Plat which are contiguous to this development have been re-platted in the past. Kyle Levetzow made a motion to approve the re-platting of Lots 5 and 6 of the Black Diamond Subdivision in part of the NW ¼ of the NW ¼ and the SW ¼ of the NW ¼ in Section 28, Township 6 North, Range 3 East located at Jay Drive. Pam Johnson-Loy seconded the motion. Motion carried.

5) Adjournment. Kyle Levetzow made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 6:27 p.m. Pam Johnson-Loy seconded the motion. Motion carried.
