June 27, 2017 Board of Review

BOARD OF REVIEW MEETING MINUTES
TOWN OF DODGEVILLE
June 27th, 2017

Members present were: Curt Peterson, David Blume, Peter Vanderloo, Assessor Calvin Magnan and Clerk/Treasurer, Sara Olson.

Peter Vanderloo made a motion to nominate Curt Peterson to serve as Chairperson for the 2017 Board of Review. David Blume seconded the motion. Roll call: Blume, yes; Vanderloo, yes and Peterson, abstained. Motion carried.

David Blume made a motion to nominate Peter Vanderloo to serve as Vice-Chair for the 2017 Board of Review. Curt Peterson seconded the motion. Roll call: Blume, yes; Peterson, yes and Vanderloo, abstained. Motion carried.

Board of Review was called to order at 5:00 p.m. by Town Chairman, Curt Peterson.

Clerk Olson verified that the 2017 Assessment Roll was received and that she witnessed Calvin Magnan signing the assessor’s affidavit.

Clerk Olson verified that proper notice of the Board of Review was posted on June 7th, 2017 in accordance to WI Statutes 19.84 (3) at the Town Message Boards at Pleasant Ridge Store, Mueller Implement and the Town Office. In addition notice was also published in the Dodgeville Chronicle on June 7th, 2017.

Clerk Olson also verified that Curt Peterson and Peter Vanderloo satisfied the training requirements for Board of Review.

David Blume moved that this Board of Review is in compliance with the open meeting law. Peter Vanderloo seconded the motion. Roll call: Blume, yes; Vanderloo, yes and Peterson, yes. Motion carried.

Peter Vanderloo made a motion to accept the 2016 Board of Review minutes with the correct of a name in the 8th paragraph. David Blume seconded the motion. Motion carried.

David Gollon arrived at 6:13 p.m.

There were no objectors present and no notices of determination completed at the 2017 Board of Review.

David Gollon made a motion for final adjournment of the 2017 Board of Review at 7:00 p.m., seconded by David Blume. Roll call: Gollon, yes; Vanderloo, yes; Blume, yes; and Peterson, yes. Motion carried.
