Plan Commission Meeting
Monday, June 25th, 2012

The Town of Dodgeville Plan Commission met on Monday, June 25th at 6:30 PM. Chair, Anthony Esch called the Planning Commission meeting to order at 6:37 PM.

Plan Commission Committee members in attendance were: Chair, Anthony Esch, Robert Butler, David Blume and Katherine Cahill. Absent were: Curt Peterson and Matthew Chitwood

Others in attendance were: Clerk/Treasurer Sara Olson, Warren Bohlman, Chris Randal, Dennis Dochnahl and Judith Yager.

Chairman Anthony Esch verified that proper notice of the meeting was posted on June 13th, 2012 in accordance to WI Statutes 19.84 (3) at the Town Message Boards at Jumping Jupiter, Mueller Implement and the Town Office. David Blume made a motion to approve the public notice and agenda. Robert Butler seconded the motion. Motion carried.

Robert Butler made a motion to approve the February 27th, 2012 meeting minutes as submitted. Katherine Cahill seconded the motion. Motion carried.

Chairman Anthony Esch removed himself from the Planning Commission and became a member of the general public due to he was a neighbor to the individuals who submitted the petition. Plan Commission member David Blume asked Judith Yager to provide the Planning Commission information on the conditional use permit to consider a professional home office on a 6.17 acre parcel zoned A-1 in the NW pt fr of the NW ¼ of the SW ¼ of S7-T6N-R3E located at 4024 Esch Road. Judith Yager indicated that she would like to do some chiropractic care out of her home in a room on the lower lever. Judith indicated she would see a few patients a week therefore additional traffic and parking shouldn’t be an issue.

Robert Butler made a motion to recommend the approval of the conditional use permit for a professional home office on a 6.17 acre parcel zoned A-1 in the NW pt fr of the NW ¼ of the SW ¼ of S7-T6N-R3E located at 4024 Esch Road. Katherine Cahill seconded the motion. Motion carried.

Anthony Esch returned as the Chairman of the Plan Commission.

The Town Plan Commission discussed Section H-Land Use Element and determined that they need to get some direction from the Town Board prior to digging into this element to look at how to increase growth in the Township.

Robert Butler made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Katherine Cahill seconded the motion. Motion carried.

*This recommendation is not valid as there wasn’t a quorum present during the hearing of the petition as one member removed himself versus abstaining from the motion.*
