Town Board Meeting Minutes
June 20th, 2016
*Immediately following Board of Review*

1) Call to order. Town Chairman, Curt Peterson called the meeting to order at 7:00 P.M.

Town Supervisors in attendance were: David Gollon and Peter Vanderloo. Also in attendance was Clerk/Treasurer Sara Olson.

2) Approval of Public Notice/Agenda. Supervisor, David Gollon made a motion to approve the public notice and agenda seconded by Supervisor, Peter Vanderloo. Motion carried.

3) Approval or Denial of Beer, Liquor and Cigarette Licenses for the 2016-2017 licensing year. (Pleasant Ridge Country Store LLC, House on the Rock Inn, Jumping Jupiter LLC, Kate’s Bait LLC and Barn 23 Bar & Restaurant).

David Gollon made a motion to approve the issuance of a 2016-2017 Class “B” Beer license and Class “C” Wine License for Pleasant Ridge Store (Charles Rolli, Agent) continguent upon the applicant not receiving a Class “B” Beer/Liquor Combination license. Peter Vanderloo seconded the motion. Motion carried.

David Gollon made a motion to approve the issuance of a 2016-2017 Class “B” Beer/Liquor Combination license for Pleasant Ridge Store (Charles Rolli, Agent) continguent upon availability as of July 1st, 2016. The description of the premises is the woodframe building at 4948 County Road Z including the deck & garage area. Peter Vanderloo seconded the motion. Motion carried.

David Gollon made a motion to approve a cigarette license and the issuance of a 2016-2017 Class “A” Beer/Liquor Combination license for Jumping Jupiter (Susan M. Grimes, Agent). Peter Vanderloo seconded the motion. Motion carried.

David Gollon made a motion to approve the issuance of a 2016-2017 Class “B” Beer/Liquor Combination license for Vivid, Inc. (Nancy Schaaf, Agent). Peter Vanderloo seconded the motion. Motion carried.

David Gollon made a motion to approve the issuance of a 2016-2017 Class “A” Beer license for Kate’s Bait LLC (Kathryn Rickey, Agent). Peter Vanderloo seconded the motion. Motion carried.

David Gollon made a motion to approve the issuance of a 2016-2017 Class “B” Beer/Liquor Combination license for Barn 23 Bar & Restaurant. (Sarah Woerpel, Agent). Peter Vanderloo seconded the motion. Motion carried.

4) Approval or Denial of Operator Licenses for the 2016-2017 licensing year. Peter Vanderloo made a motion to approve operator licenses for the 2016-2017 licensing year for the following individuals: Steve Demuth, Bobbi Joe Lease, Fontana Dagenhardt contingent upon receiving certificate (Pleasant Ridge Store) Doyle Wallace (Jumping Jupiter) David Raess, Gary Holloway, Betty Smith, Nancy Schaaf, (Vivid, Inc.) Shawn Woerpel, Brittney Chappell (Barn 23 Bar & Restaurant.) Dale Rickey, Chad Mosley, and Claire Rickey (Kate’s Bait). David Gollon seconded the motion. Motion carried.

5) Discussion & possible adoption re: Resolution 2016-293 eCMAR - 2015. David Gollon made a motion to adopt Resolution 2016-293 eCMAR – 2015 as submitted. Peter Vanderloo seconded the motion. Motion carried.

6) Discussion & possible action re: Evans Quarry Road Damages. Clerk/Treasurer Sara Olson indicated that the deposition of Keith Kammes would be held on June 28th at Murphy, Desmond Law Office. No action taken.

7 - 9). Closed Session in Accordance with Wisconsin Statue 19.85 (1) (g) to confer with legal counsel for the governmental body who is rendering oral or written advice concerning strategy to be adopted by the body with respect to litigation in which is or is likely to become involved. (Evans Quarry Road Damages). The Town Board didn’t go into closed session and therefore no action was taken on Items #8 & #9.

10) Public Comment. The Town Board indicated that they needed to discuss the use of telecommunication for participation in any Town meeting. Clerk/Treasurer Sara Olson indicated that she would contact the WTA to obtain additional information in regards to electronic meetings.

11) Adjournment. Peter Vanderloo made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 7:18 p.m. David Gollon seconded the motion. Motion carried.
