Town Board Meeting Minutes
June 19th, 2012
*Immediately following Board of Review*

1) Call to order. Town Chairman, Curt Peterson called the meeting to order at 8:02 P.M.

Town Supervisors in attendance were: Charles Price, David Thomas and David Gollon. Also in attendance was Clerk/Treasurer Sara Olson.

2) Approval of Public Notice/Agenda. Supervisor, David Gollon made a motion to approve the public notice and agenda seconded by Supervisor, David Thomas. Motion carried.

3) Approval or Denial of Beer, Liquor and Cigarette Licenses for the 2012-2013 licensing year. (Pleasant Ridge Country Store LLC, House on the Rock Inn, Jumping Jupiter LLC, Hill’s Pub and Banquet Hall LLC and Sam & Maddies Inc).

David Gollon made a motion to approve the issuance of a 2012-2013 Class B Beer license for Pleasant Ridge Store (Charles Rolli, Agent) with the completion of a background check. David Thomas seconded the motion. Motion carried.

David Gollon made a motion to approve a cigarette license and the issuance of a 2012-2013 Class A Beer/Liquor Combination license for Jumping Jupiter (Susan M. Grimes, Agent) with the completion of a background check. David Thomas seconded the motion. Motion carried.

David Gollon made a motion to approve the issuance of a 2012-2013 Class B Beer/Liquor Combination license for Hill’s Pub and Banquet Hall, LLC. (Ed Hill, Agent) with the completion of a background check. This license allows alcoholic beverages to be served in the building located at 3625 State Road 23 including the basement. David Thomas seconded the motion. Motion carried.

David Gollon made a motion to approve the issuance of a 2012-2013 Class B Beer/Liquor Combination license for Vivid, Inc. (Nancy Schaaf, Agent) with the completion of a background check. David Thomas seconded the motion. Motion carried.

David Gollon made a motion to approve the issuance of a 2012-2013 Class B Beer/Liquor Combination license for Sam & Maddies, Inc. (Nick Olson, Agent) with the completion of a background check. David Thomas seconded the motion. Motion carried.

4) Approval or Denial of Operator Licenses for the 2012-2013 licensing year. (Megan Pittz, Steve Demuth, Theresa Odgers, Lauren Gullickson, Elizabeth Heimerl, Tari McCabe, Michael Slaney, Doyle Wallace, Lori Ness, Crystal Slaney, Alexandra Moritz-Hanson, Naomi Michek, Virgil Leverton, David Grainger, Betty Smith, David Raess, Charlotte Jones, Lisa Brown and Anne Elert)

David Thomas made a motion to approve operator licenses for the 2012-2013 licensing year with the conditions that the education requirement is met and provided to the Township as well as a background check is completed for the following individuals: Megan Pittz, Steve Demuth, Theresa Odgers, Lauren Gullickson, Elizabeth Heimerl, Tari McCabe, Michael Slaney (Pleasant Ridge Store) Doyle Wallace, Lori Ness (Jumping Jupiter) David Grainger, Virgil Leverton, Charlotte Jones , Betty Smith, David Raess (Vivid, Inc.) Alexandra Moritz-Hanson, Naomi Michek, Crystal Slaney (Sam & Maddies, Inc.) Lisa Brown, Anne Elert (Hill’s Pub and Banquet Hall). David Gollon seconded the motion. Motion carried.

5) Discussion & possible adoption re: Resolution 2012-279 E-CMAR 2011. Clerk/Treasurer Sara Olson presented the Town Board with a draft of Resolution 2012-279 E-CMAR 2011. David Gollon made a motion to approve and adopt Resolution 2012-279 E-CMAR 2011 as presented. Charlie Price seconded the motion. Motion carried.

6) Closed Session in Accordance with Wisconsin Statue 19.85 (1) (c) to consider employment, promotion, employee hours, compensation or performance evaluation of any public employee of which the governmental body has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility. Charlie Price made a motion to go into closed session in Accordance with Wisconsin Statue 19.85 (1) (c) to consider employment, promotion, employee hours, compensation or performance evaluation of any public employee of which the governmental body has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility. David Thomas seconded the motion. Motion carried. Roll call: Peterson, yes; Gollon, yes; Price, yes; and Thomas, yes.

7) Reconvene into Open Session. David Gollon made a motion to reconvene into open session. David Thomas seconded the motion. Motion carried.

8) Board Action as a Result of Closed Session. David Gollon made a motion to continue to reimburse the full-time patrolman for insurance premiums during his medical leave of absence. David Thomas seconded the motion. Motion carried.

9) Public Comment. None

10) Adjournment. David Gollon made a motion to adjourn the meeting. David Thomas seconded the motion. Motion carried.
