Plan Commission Meeting
Monday, December 28th, 2009

The Town of Dodgeville Plan Commission met on Monday, December 28th, 2009 at 6:30 PM. Chair, Dave Blume called the Planning Commission meeting to order at 6:30 PM.

Plan Commission Committee members in attendance were: Chair, Dave Blume, Laura Jean Blotz, Curt Peterson, Matt Chitwood, David Thomas and Larry Lenox. John Crook was absent.

Others in attendance were: Clerk/Treasurer Sara Olson

Chairman Blume verified that proper notice of the meeting was posted on December 23rd, 2009 in accordance to WI Statutes 19.84 (3) at the Town Message Boards at Jumping Jupiter, Mueller Implement and the Town Office. David Thomas made a motion to approve the public notice and agenda. Matthew Chitwood seconded the motion. Motion carried.

Curt Peterson made a motion to approve the November 30th, 2009 meeting minutes as submitted. Larry Lenox seconded the motion. Motion carried.

Plan Commission member, David Thomas removed himself from the Planning Commission Board and joined the public.

Chairman Blume asked David Thomas who submitted the current petition to explain the current petition. David Thomas stated that he is trying to rezone 82 acres from A-1 Ag to AB-1 Ag Business, located in Section 36, Town 6 North, Range 3 East with a conditional use of beef farming and a residential structure for the purpose of removing the land out of the A-1 Ag district to avoid possible Farmland Preservation conversion fees.

Matthew Chitwood made a motion to recommend the approval of the rezoning of 82 acres from A-1 Ag to AB-1 Ag Business, located in Section 36, Town 6 North, Range 3 East with a conditional use of beef farming and a residential structure that is currently owned by David & Cynthia Thomas. Larry Lenox seconded the motion. Motion carried.

Plan Commission member, David Thomas rejoined the Planning Commission Board after the motion was carried.

Mathew Chitwood made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 7:39 p.m. Laura Jean Blotz seconded the motion. Motion carried.
