April 20, 2021 Annual Town Board Meeting

Annual Town Meeting Minutes
Tuesday, April 20th, 2021
5:00 p.m.
1) Call to order. Town Chairman, Curt Peterson called the meeting to order at 5:01 p.m.

Town Supervisors in attendance were; Peter Vanderloo, David Pope, Kyle Levetzow and David Gollon. Also in attendance were Clerk/Treasurer Sara Olson, Dan Barr, John Kitzke, Kevin Zajicek and Randy Beerkircher.

2) Approval of Public Notice/Agenda. Supervisor, David Pope made a motion to approve the public notice and agenda seconded by Supervisor Kyle Levetzow. Motion carried.

3) Approval of Annual Meeting Minutes from April 21st, 2020. Peter Vanderloo made a motion to accept the April 21st, 2020 meeting minutes as submitted. David Pope seconded the motion. Motion carried.

4) Review of 2020 Annual Report & Audit. The Town Board reviewed the presented 2020 Annual Report indicating that the Town had a net income of $565.23. Clerk/Treasurer Sara Olson presented a copy of the 2020 Audit Report and requested that the Board members review the document and discussion would take place at a later meeting.

5) Review of 2020 Accomplishments & Highlights. The Town Board discussed several accomplishments and highlights for 2020 including the following:

1. Purchasing of a 2021 F-550
2. Purchasing of I-pad’s for Planning Commission members and Town Board members
3. A speaker to allow for remote meetings during the pandemic
4. Purchasing of a voting machine as well as sanitation equipment and office furniture with Routes-to-Recovery Aid
5. Overlays on Dyreson Road and Weaver Road
6. Sealcoating of Hunter Hollow Rd, Shop Hill Rd, Wittman Rd, Section Line Rd, Rohowetz Rd and N. Clay Hill Rd
7. Paving of a portion of Esch Rd utilizing a 50/50 TRIP program

6) Set 2021 Annual Meeting Date. David Gollon made a motion to set the 2021 Annual Meeting date for the third Tuesday in April of 2022 starting at 5:00 p.m. Kyle Levetzow seconded the motion. Motion carried.

7) Other matter brought before the Annual Meeting. Town Board Supervisor David Gollon indicated that the local unit of government will receive funding if the ATC line is constructed within the municipality. An exception will be required in order for these funds to be utilized for roads.

8) Adjournment. David Gollon made a motion to adjourn at 5:13 p.m. David Pope seconded the motion. Motion carried.
